man i live so far away from everything

my friend called me this morning and was like let's have lunch tomorrow cause another friend is back in the country. She's like how's Beverly Center in LA and mindless me is like that's fine.

Now I'm looking at mapquest and it's like 50-60 miles as the crow flies. Dammit. At first she wanted to make the drive easy for me but I was like whatever, I've forgotten how far away she actually lives from me. Now I might as well just drive out to her house in Palos Verdes.

I live in Rancho Cucamonga.

Quit whining. You can make the drive in about an hour if you leave at 3:00am.

BTW, you can't get to Palos Verdes from anywhere. I dread it every time I get a service call in that shithole.

PV is a shithole? When I was last there, it was a nice upscale residential area by the coast were all the houses were a half mil+.

You were last there in 1989? PV real estate is probably all million-dollars and up nowadays. You exaggerate though; I don't recall where RC is, but at least BH is close to a freeway. Getting from there to PV is a good 40 mins extra, if not more from traffic.
