Well they are. This is the "some people are saying" defense.

I wasn't making any claims, was just reporting what the original post suggested.
When did people become this gullible, stupid and easily led? And more to the point when did they become proud of it?
Please explain.
He is spreading FUD and basically using the people are talking about it excuse to weasel out of it.
I really don't know what happened or when he realized that, but my initial reaction is that he did not intentionally spread a false report.
If that's the case, I don't think it's right to attack someone for trying to honestly contribute, even if carelessly so, even if they try to cover it up with a lame excuse.
A society that punishes people for making mistakes should not be surprised when its members attempt to conceal mistakes or mitigate the embarrassment of them after they are exposed.

You don't even have to be a "crazy" loony conspiracy theorist nutcase to see or spread pizzagate. It's all political. Notice there isn't breaking news on Fox News or other conservative news outlets about the gun man but it's all over CNN and liberal networks?
Here's one from CNN bashing Trump's Security Advisor's son, probably just because he's linked to Trump and it's CNN. Had the email leaks target republicans, I feel this would have been reported a lot differently.

So, Flynn's son is a racist, right?
Says that right here:
So here's what the actual General is pushingHonestly I could give 2 shits what the guy's son thinks since he isn't the one being put in a position of significant influence and power. More concerned that his father is in a role that is supposed to distill complex information into a factual narrative to help the POTUS make national security decisions appears to have a problem making up his own facts.
Or at least not bring them into the White House and put them on the payroll a la Bannon.Obviously, it's time to crack down on Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson and Mike Cernovich and Stefan Molyneux and...

So the fact his son is serving as his chief of staff is meaningless?Honestly I could give 2 shits what the guy's son thinks since he isn't the one being put in a position of significant influence and power. Absolutely society punishes people for mistakes. That's how it encourages people not to repeat those mistakes.
Try fucking up constantly at work and see what happens.
That's a rationalization.
Haven't you realized that people still keep fucking up constantly?
Exactly! The beatings will continue until moral improves. It's an explanation.
You have a job? Try fucking up the same thing over and over, see how it goes.
