Man, my GF works so much... can you beat her hours?

She works in PwC in NYC.

Every quarterly closing, about 7-10 days prior, they work her to death.

She's been coming home at 10pm - 11pm, last night she came home at 1am. Also she's has to go to work Sat & Sun.

This happens as much as four times a year. Damn. I guess she's not even really making six figures with those hours.

I guess it's all about what you're used to. My old job I could NOT wait to get out of work by 5pm and start getting antsy and aloof around 4:15pm.

Well the 12 hours is when I'm offshore. I work a regular 8 hour, 8-5 schedule when I'm in the office and can't wait to leave by 4:30

That really isn't much. I'm sure there are several members here who work, or have worked, jobs that require this type of commitment and more year round. Myself included.

Yea, no doubt for hardcore lawyers or Wall St. (pwc is pvt auditing).

I've always heard about those ridiculous hours and it's crazy for me to witness it first hand.

But remember, lawyers and wall st people Will make fuckton of money (250k - 1mil +) at those hours later in career. PwC? Not so much.
