First, I think it's fake.
Second, even if he had unprotected sex with 1500 women, the chances of each being infected from one encounter are quite low.
In fact, if he did have sex with 1500 women I would be surprised if even 5 were infected.

"The actual chance of becoming infected with HIV during a single sexual experience ? with a partner who is known to be HIV-positive ? is rather low: one study put the chance for a woman becoming infected by an HIV-positive male through vaginal sex at 1 in 1000."
I've worked with HIV+ people for years and can tell you that transmission rates among couple who were consistently safe was 0. Even couples who used the pull and pray method religiously never had an infection in my experience. And among couples who did not use condoms and bodily fluids were exchanged had quite a long period of no infection, and then the rates of transmission were still pretty low. Transmission rates went way up when other diseases were involved or rough sex was the norm. Which makes sense, because HIV has to have a direct route to the bloodstream for transmission to occur. An unhealthy or injured vagina means the chances of transmission skyrocket. But a healthy, uninjured vagina is simply very hard to infect. Now, this is my personal experience after nearly 20 years of working with HIV+ people. But from all that I have read it's the reality.
Are the chances of passing HIV from Female to Male greater than Male to Female?

Not that I know of. It really is quite difficult to catch HIV through heterosexual intercourse. As long as you dont have any cuts, sores, or other breaks in the skin on your junk, it's going to be almost impossible. Male-male is much easier for fairly obvious reasons.

Women can catch it a lot easier from men than vice versa.

On second thought, you are correct. It's quite a bit easier to tear up a woman's nether regions than a man's. Transmission requires that kind of tear, and STDs in women also present more often as an open sore. If you've ever seen a "strawberry cervix" caused by a trichomonas infection, I guarantee you wont be eating much for the rest of the day.

Someone did the math on this and calculated that he would have to have sex with 7 women a day to get the #s he did. BS

Yeah I don't get that...it was like someone explaining how they think something is rather than reality.

I was assuming he was asking the question from the point of view of both the man and the woman being healthy.

If neither has aids/hiv then the risk of transmission is zero.
