Sex entitlement is when you think your entitled to a womans body, that you think because your her boyfriend or husband that somehow you have a right to have sex with her, that her body is somehow yours, and you have a right to it. I for one would never force my partner into having sex with me, nor guilt trip her into it, or make her feel bad for not wanting to have sex with me. If there is a problem we would talk it out. Your significant other is not obligated to have sex with you period. But one thing is for certain I don't feel that I am entitled to my wife's body in anyway... and that folks is what sex entitlement is all about. I see too many on here posting in a very "sex entitlement" covert way, and yea that bothers me.
In the sentence right before the one you bolded I said that we do them because they are our significant other and so we love them and love to do those things to/with them. But make no mistake, they are expectations. Because if they aren't, what we are then saying is that it's okay to be cold and distant and mean to your significant other, because they had no right to expect that you would want to hold their hand or sleep in the same bed or have sex on occasion.
I don't understand how reddit threads like this make the news. It's blowing up on my facebook as well. The entire thing might be made up and, even if it isn't, headline: Marriage kills sex. Shocking. (edit: Well, okay, not at 26yo it doesn't).
This. People like Oldgamer have been blinded by the fucked up new feminism, which isn't about equality but about men begging women to gift us with their graces.
A man can't expect sex, but a woman can expect monogamy, housework, steady employment, child rearing, and everything else a man should be expected to do. Why do women get to have expectations but men don't?

hahahaa...I am very happy for you!! That's what life is!!Best fishing buddy I ever married. Does your wife go fishing with you? Mine does. BTW..she once gave me permission to see an escort when she was really sick and she couldn't have sex with me. Does your wife do that for you? My wife is one of a kind. I love her dearly. I got lucky in life I really did.
doesn't the man also expect monogamy, housework, steady employment, and child rearing from his wife?
no one is obligated to have sex with anyone, at any time.
of course, that said, sex is obviously an important part of most relationships... if they're not having sex as frequently as one of them would like, the thing to do is sit down and talk about it (as opposed to constantly badgering your wife for sex and then starting a passive-aggressive spreadsheet when she says no rather than talking about it)
No need to ask...Great, next up someone is going to ask what it means to earn your red wings.
That's like who do Atheists get to ask the questions to Christians? Yet when a Christian asks an Atheists a question they say -- you cannot disprove something that does not exist...lololololA man can't expect sex, but a woman can expect monogamy, housework, steady employment, child rearing, and everything else a man should be expected to do. Why is sex this one special thing that no one can expect?
Is sex every other week THAT infrequent?
I know some married guys that have gone over a year without sex.

Are you married to my Ex?
IMO it should be expected, and if you're not getting it, you have every right to talk about why, and talk about solutions. That doesn't mean it's ever an obligation. We're kind of getting into semantics here.

WTF are you babbling about?

Yes women like that should not get married but it's also his fault for marrying her. I've never been married but I can't assume that all of a sudden once the ring goes on, their vagina goes dry. There's gotta be long standing reasons for it even before marriage, signs, something but I'm sure most people ignore those which is why the divorce rate is so high which is why I don't want to get married.
