If he'd done "stuff" with 25 kids and there was no rape he's not that much of a danger.
I don't see how mucking toes could mentally scar a child, life imprisonment for not really doing anything seems a bit much. Maybe some kind of mental asylum/psychiatric help and 5 years in prison.

I disagree.

If he was getting sexual gratification from toe sucking, then he's preying off these kids to get his jollies. And, though I'm no social psychologist, I imagine it probably wouldn't be too long before he WAS raping boys.

Now, I don't advocate punishing folks for crimes they might commit at some point in the future, but I do think this behavior is sexual abuse.

As strange as this is I find the punishment to be a little too much. The punishment makes even less sense when realize that the old guy in town here who blew through a stop sign the other day in a truck that shouldn't be on the road a killed three women in the car he hit probably won't even serve more than a year or two in jail. The ambulance company my uncle works for responded and the driver of the ambulance said the guy in the truck showed no remorse and was impatient with being held up for so long.

Seems appropriate to me. Sexual molestation is sexual molestation. Just because his kicks related to toe sucking doesn't make it any less serious to me. How would you feel if he had been french-kissing 20 boys or 20 girls? Has nothing to do with the genitals either but is just as repellent.

As a victim of this type of crime, I can confirm that this type of behavior does affect a child to where it screws with them the rest of their life. He used them as sexual objects and for his sick.gratification and deep in their soul they can feel this and it does damage them and affects them for the rest of their lives. He is sick does not need to be around any vulnerable people and should not be pitied or felt sorry for in any way, shape, or form, He used these kids to get himself off and that does deserve a life sentence.
