So this guy likes used printers eh?

I have a few that I should send him for free just because.

That would be funny, gather people to send him their junk printers in mass and keep sending them.

It would be funnier if thousands of printers were collected en masse somewhere else and then dumped on his lawn in one giant pile in the middle of the night.

I was thinking the same thing, but I noticed one mod already deleted a comment and suggested such "over the top" comments need to stop.

Stories like this one bring up a very serious debate. Society generally agrees that human lives are precious and are to be protected, often at great cost and risking other lives in the process. This is wonderful in a caring, loving, cooperative society and benefits all. With that in mind, when does someone's actions and their proven unwillingness to play nice with society rise to the level where it's no longer worth keeping them around?

If you read the "Enough's Enough" story, it looks like this guy is used to breaking knees in Russia to get what he wants, but felt it would be easier and more profitable to immigrate and abuse the US legal system. How precious is the life of a person like that?

I understand I'm talking about murder and murder is bad, but sometimes you have to cull an unhealthy herd or it dies. So, is hoping he gets shot "over the top" or just saying out loud what everyone is thinking?
He's male, so he's expendable. That's what society says.

It's like pruning a tree. Sometime you just have to chop off the bad and damaged branches so the rest of the tree will thrive.

Random thought, is there some kind of insurance you can get for this sort of thing? Like some kind of lawsuit insurance where if you get sued the insurance covers it? Seems it could be a good business in the states. Heck it should just be rolled up into healthcare insurance, you guys pay enough for that.

Umm I don't think people are going to buy insurance just for selling old crap on Craigslist.

It would be more a general lawsuit insurance not just for if you sell stuff. It seems you can get sued for pretty much just existing. I guess the odds of it happening to one specific individual is slim though, so it would be a hard sell.

How much do you think it would cost for carte blanche, can't get sued for any reason no matter what insurance? The premiums would bankrupt Apple in the first week.

I am pretty sure an umbrella policy would cover it but you would have have to look at the specifics.

Do you really need insurance if you employ a full-time legal department?

Seems like it'd be cheaper to invest in in-house lawyers and hire out when required than buy insurance that covers everything.
