If it takes any single GOP Congressman longer than 5 minutes to respond to a comment like that from Giuliani by invoking the outright necessity of impeachment in that scenario, then each one of them is a fucking traitor.
They are publicly dangling the pardon now to signal Manafort. I don’t know how it can be seen any other way at this point.

Guiliani is just running cover. I still don't know what his end game is.

His endgame is to tear down the DoJ & FBI so far that the public won't believe what comes out in Mueller's report. Flat won't believe it & Congress can let Trump off the hook.

He's trying to make the truth irrelevant.

He has 100% succeeded with his base already. All he's doing now is maintenance. Can't afford for the cultists to stray too far from his hate agenda. They are mouthbreathers after all and easily distracted and hyper volatile just like he likes them but he knows they need guidance or else it's back to their dark corners fu*king children and their siblings, quietly steaming and shooting their guns while also avoiding anything factually educational because their simple little fu*king minds can't comprehend personal growth and progress. They'd have everyone believe it's because they won't tolerate it but nah, it's their devotion to stupidity that wins their every god forsaken day. Stands to reason they're in for worshipping a soulless, incestuous, sexual predator, traitor.

Slick & simple. I wonder how they busted him at it.

Derp state insider was very likely planted inside Mannafort's circle of "friends" and had access to the account.

Or, obviously, one of those dudes flipped--likely his assistant, Rick Gates is it? that was the 2nd guy indicted, with Mannafort at #1, to get the ball rolling on all of this. I think that guy had very little money, relatively, and can't afford the type of defense that Mannafort can with his criminal treason-obtained wealth, so had no other out.

Or the sooper sekret email account and password was locked away in Cohen's office safe. 12345 is a tough password to crack.

This whole thing could've been avoided if Cardinal Comey would've simply told Trump, " The guy you just hired, not a great guy. We've had him under investigation for a couple years now and you don't want to be in the same hemisphere as him." It's not Comey's job to to do that but just think about it.
Wow, just laughable, anyone running for POTUS needs to do his/her OWN homework about who they bring on board, you act like Trump's a teen. Oh, just so you know, Trump WAS warned by the FBI that Russia (and possibly others) might try to gain access to his campaign and influence the election as soon as he won the GOP nomination. That little known fact answers the "gee why didn't they stop and warn Trump his staff is mingling with Russian agents vs launching an investigation".

Rough couple of days for Casino Mussolini.

1) Sued (whole family) by the SoNY who says he isn't fit to run a charitable foundation
2) OIG report that shows no deep state in FBI
3) Cohen indicating he'll cooperate
4) Bizarre ad-hoc presser on the WH lawn
5) Campaign manager gets sent to jail, where he'll likely either die or also flip

In other words, a good couple of days for the country.

Nice snapshot.

Shouldn’t this be pretty simple? Get information on who was logging into the account and from where from the provider?
I'm not sure of the legal technicalities but I think they need a warrant which means they'd need evidence of malfeasance to get one which means somebody is a rat.

This whole Manafort episode is bad ju-ju for the heavy hitters in the Hapsburg group. Their image is built on being statesmen & sages, not hired guns. Yeh, sure, the money is good but the publicity is very bad. This may not have been the first & only sleazy deal they ever worked, either. It may well be causing them trouble with European authorities.

They're all kinda tied together thru the money trail, too. So having anything to do with Manafort is poison, at least for some, but they can't trust the others to be that smart, either. So of course they'll rat out Manafort in a heartbeat to neutralize that threat. He can't fuck it up any more than he already has if he's in jail.

It's also the kind of thing the authorities truly appreciate, as well.

Just heard this began with a potential witness reaching out to the FBI fearing he’d be dragged into a crime too.
Guy received some message from an encrypted messaging app.

Sinking ship, rats and stuff.

They must be scared shitless of Manafort flipping when they pull the pardon gibberish again... Also Manafort may be more worried about the russian mod and/or intelligence than the US justice system in regards to flipping...

I think Manafort has been holding out for the Scooter Libby deal. Looks like he blew it, however, thinking he was the smartest guy in the room. Not this time.

He had it pretty good out on bond & probably could have kept it that way for a few more years, anyway. His new reality is entirely different & may well cause him to reconsider his options...

Tucker on Fox is already priming the viewers for a pardon, he's claiming what Manafort did is what Congressmen and Senators do all the time, meet with foreigners and get lobbied by them.

I think we need a headcount after today.
How many congress republicans do still support the special counsel? The second that balance flips is the second you loose law and order, checks and balances... Game Over.
Also, I think its naive to think that foreign agents are not in the process right now on gaining kompromat on key members in this equation.
