Most of my friends and acquaintances tend to have more that one active email. Since GMail creates a new address book entry every time you reply to anyone new, I now have more than 1000 entries in the address book. Most of these are valid entries, but probably represent only about 300-400 people, each with 1 to 5 email addresses.
I know there is a manual way of adding emails to a contact entry, and then deleting the redundant contact entry, but this is very tedious.
Have any of you figured out how to do this cleanup and maintain a clean contacts list in an efficient manner?
