You know, I don't think any coach worth his salt would willingly coach in Dallas unless he was desperate for a job.
What real coach would want a job where the owner is on the sidelines, talking to reporters, etc after games and commenting on the team's performance?
Why even hire a coach? I was reading some silly criticism about Ford (Lions owner) and about how you don't see him so he doesn't care about the team. Well, maybe since he as GM and coaching staff, he can allow them to make those millions he's paying them count. Or maybe he knows the best way to get results from said hires is to let them do their freaking jobs. :whiste:
This is why Dallas will be a joke organization to play/coach for (and just maybe the Colts) when you have owners who act like idiots and are trying to be celebrities.
Owners should be seen but not heard. You hire a staff, let them coach.
