No debate to braindead fanboys maybe, but plenty to those who have brains. Anyone with half a clue (OP obviously excluded) knows that most football games are decided by defense. Manning didn't impress anyone this post season. Indy won because their defense showed up and made the key stops and because their offensive line allowed the Colts to run the ball effectively. Marino was a much better quarterback than Manning, he just always got stuck on teams with a crappy defense.

Let's put it this way. Peyton knows how to throw the long ball. I've seen few QBs that can make an attack on the corner of the endzone any better. He can position the ball perfectly to where only his receiver can catch it. He's been doing it since he was at TN.

The trick is that for the past 2-3 seasons, defenses know this and they continuously play their safetys deep and rush Peyton to take the long threat away. It wasn't really until this season that he started dominating by throwing underneath, over the middle in play action, slants, and utilizing the stretch play constantly to space out the defense.

Basically, Peyton is playing his offensive coach's game. He is doing his job. This is what a QB should do....

As for him being better than Marino....I'm not sure if you can compare them because Marino in his prime could throw that ball on a rope. He was a machine. The trick though is that Peyton studies tapes like nobody's business. He is the most driven QB ever.

The ratio of plays in this game was quite interesting

If you don't think Peyton is good, and say that it was the running game that really gave the offense wings, consider first that 1. it was raining so any aggressive passing game is moot and 2. Peyton calls a significant amount of plays from the line. In the huddle the offensive coordinator (Moore) gives him 3+ plays to give out to the offense, and then he chooses based on the defense he sees. From what little I can recall of Marino's career, he was not nearly as much of a field general as Manning is.
Also, keeping an offense on the field for that much time and consistently engineering drives of 10+ plays like that is a matter of skill. If you don't believe me, just ask Rex Grossman.
If you disagree, give us more than your opinion.

I did not know that...

This article gives a pretty good insight into the Moore and Manning's relationship:

However, the fact I cited I learned from TV so I have no citation.
