did he cycle off the steroids at those times? does that really work? no lingering steroids in your system if you cycle off?
did he use some kind of masking agent? how does that work?
I honestly think that a ton of the cyclists at that time were on steroids too, and they all just used the same process to cover up what they were doing. Just like in baseball.

Did his stats/play really justify a 1str round spot anyways or what hype pushing him up like the heisman polls? I don't follow college football at all but based on what someone else showed earlier there's 2 better players (stats-wise).The blowhards on evening commute sports radio were saying that they wouldn't even take him in the 3rd round if he was available. Hyperbole, I think, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him fall to the late 2nd or 3rd round.

He already told his side of the story. He claimed that someone fooled him, and this whole time, for the entire 3+ years that he "knew" this woman, it was actually someone jerking him around online. And that he never met her face to face, which itself contradicts earlier things he said about how he met her (supposedly in person after a game against Stanford in 2009) and his relationship with her (visiting her in Hawaii).

So at the VERY LEAST, and assuming what he said is true, he lied about the circumstances of their relationship. Again, the very best thing possible for him is that he really DID get tricked and was so embarrassed that he kept pretending that she was real so he wouldn't have to admit it.

But yea him saying they meet and now changing his story, something does not add up and now he can't get his story straight.

a lot of people dont care. but it seems the majority of the people do, as this is one of the most popular sports stories in a long time. personally, I am completely enthralled by it. I'm on pins and needles to hear more. But that could be due to the fact that I'm at work, and anything remotely interesting will draw my attention.

It's interesting because the long-term implications of this are really nothing. Te'o hasn't committed a crime, and he will still play in the NFL. People are captivated by it because it's just...so WEIRD.

A South Bend newspaper article (now pulled from their website) described several meetings. It appears his father was the source for the article, and thus he presumably described the meetings to his dad. Apparently his teammates also thought he had met the girl at least once.
