You must add that they send most of that money back to Mexico and they use and abuse State and Federal social services so we are paying more than these people are worth. It would be better to pay an American a decent wage in the first place and pay a higher price for the goods. The only people that benefit from the illegals are the businesses that abuse them and the politicians that pander to them for votes. The common American is getting royally screwed here.

That's cute and all, but where are your numbers, your actual evidence? We've benefited from prosperity like none seen before with the rise of globalism, meanwhile the threat of real war has all but disappeared and the average standard of living has risen. But oh no! Those ******** stole our lettuce picking jerbs! And those damn ****** are stealing all our manufacturing!

If you're worried about them being a drain on the system or underpaid and thus undercutting "good americans" then you need to abolish the minimum wage and slash immigration controls. That way they will all pay into the system and the work still gets done. The fact is, we'd be better off paying those factory workers a stipend and outsourcing manufacturing. It's just too damn expensive to make stuff here.

We (Americans) send all of our money to China (by way of Walmart, etc)

Mexican workers are just like Chinese products. An American could make the same product, and would make a decent wage - but the product would cost more.

I'm sure you don't own any Chinese products though.

My big problem with illegals is all the tax money spent on them. In Texas, an illegal immigrant qualifies to pay in-state tuition. My fiance, who is Argentinian and on a student Visa, is unallowed to work, and has to pay out-of-state tuition. How is that a good thing?

Make them pay taxes, or get deported. That is my stance.
