The new theory is that Trump is going to run for a seat in the House in 2022, and then on his coat tails the Republicans are going to successfully sweep the House and Senate races, then appoint Trump Speaker of the House where he will then Impeach both Biden and Harris, making Trump President for life (or something like that). There seems to be a few steps missing in their plan, mainly in the Senate, but they were never a group to worry about the details.

Yes, it is mind numbingly stupid, but it is at least in the realm of the possible, even if astoundingly unlikely.

So.... The House canceled its plans for Thursday votes as word of the possible "threats" spread.

I dunno .... I think, this is a mistake. The QAnon crowd should be afforded zero capacity to stop the functioning of the state like this. While certainly preparations should be made against possible misdeeds by these traitors, congress itself should continue to operate in flagrant defiance of these nutjobs. Any sign of weakness only rewards their misbehavior and encourages them.
