The coaches aren't going to do jack to that guy. He's obviously their golden boy.
I bet the QB coach who mentioned the incident is more likely to be punished than Vick himself.
i think you're right... oh wait...

There's no excuse for what the did on the field. That alone should have resulted in a multi-game suspension. However, since he'd already had chronic off the field problems -- as well as the incident of flipping the bird earlier this year -- there's really only one way to punish him. The expulsion is fine, and I'm glad they did it.
The bigger question, however, is why Va. Tech continues to have problems with their players. It wasn't just Vick that the refs and Louisville were steamed about after the game. It is very rare to see an official speak publicly about a whole team, but one of the refs BLASTED the entire Va. Tech team for their first half behavior. This is not an isolated incident. Va. Tech has ALWAYS had a lot of personal fouls called on them, and Beamer needs to clean up the program and instill some discipline, or VT needs to fire him.

um actually they are one of the least penalized teams in the ACC which is a stat shown almost every game esp. during the FSU games since they got so many penalty yards.

I'm an idiot?
They average 13.3 penalties a game, or 108.8 yards per game. Not 53.
ESPN already factored in the fact they played 12 games as opposed to 11 for other teams.
All games are factored in except for the Bowl games.
Link to ESPN's page in case you still don't get it:
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/footba...e/acc/team/penalties_byPNLTY_CMTD.html
What exactly are you talking about?
EDIT: And I don't know how the fvck you got 53 yards per game in penalties. Their total yards in penalties, excluding the bowl game, was 1306 yard. Divide that by 13 even, and you get 100. Divide it by 12, and you get ::gasps:: 108.8!

Ok now we'll use ESPN the people who actually know something about sports.
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/confsorta...ual=&season=&year=2005&max=&lite=false
Gasp wow look at that. Now since ESPN doesnt do the math for you, in terms of yards per game, you might have to do it yourself. i assume you know how to divide.
Sports Illustrated doesn't know ******, because first if it was updated on 1/7 as they claim then why the hell do they say that vt has played 12 games and not 13. Second, have you ever watched football in your life, anytime a team gets over 100 penalty yards its considered a pretty rare thing, so i find it strange that ever team in the ACC has averaged over 100 penalty yards a game. you re an idiot. end of discussion.
EDIT: the link you have isnt even ESPN's webpage like you say

dont be stupid. if you average only 53 yards per game, you can safely assume 3 personal fouls a game if they are all 15 yarders. and throw in a false start and an offsides here or there its safe to say vt on average gets two called on them a game.
