Well, I'm certainly not glad that she's dead, and I can certainly appreciate the endearing sentiment she engenders from those that lived under soviet occupation in eastern Europe--I get that--but she was a disaster for the rest of the "free world."

No. No U.S. President really compares. You'd have to take the callous disregard for human life of a Reagan or W, mix it with the intellect of Bush Sr. and turn that distructiveness inward on the U.S. From race baiting to indefinite detention w/o trial, to blind hatred of working people Thatcher did it all.
