we aren't talking a night here. he's going into marriage. the reason this kind of age difference is rare is because it makes starting a family difficult. at her age fertility is already dropping off a cliff. its not a gradual thing. if he changes his mind about it he may leave her for a younger woman. the "12" year old would only think about the one night stand potential yes...so perhaps you have it backwards
