I luv Christina, Alicia.....but there is only one Mariah and that is my fav Christmas track of all time. Forget Gaga, forget Rihanna, esp forget Niki and Miley.

Last part: totally. First part: she is childlike, not immature, and in no way vapid. She co wrote that track with that very famous, older brazilian guy whose name I can't remember. And, ask anyone in the industry, she works harder than anyone.

Recently, her arm got seriously messed up. Did it stop her? Of course not. She still has serious nerve damage in her right hand.......immature? I don think so, babe.

When she was wasting her her life with despot/parasite Mattola early on....she was at a very early stage of development, and so malleable. Din last long.

Unfortunately, it was poor Whitney who was immature and often vapid.

What a classic beauty she was 15 years ago. She looks BEST in this vid- classy, sexy, regal, and breath-taking. Not slutty or airheaded-like in most of her other vids.

God, that 60's look + cocktail dress = Amazing.

This thread actually made me realize how much I appreciate her. I've always just took her for granted, but I really recognize what a beauty she is - both physically and her talent.

She is still gorgeous. Luminous. It also comes from inside. But she is also part of an increasingly rabidly competitive, killer industry. She is in competition with they who have far less indandescent joy and talent who make videos from go double platinum in 15 minutes albums....naked.
(And I don hate Wrecking Ball, I just don think Miley is authentically molten.)

Even Beyonce is taking things to extremes now. I think it diminishes her.

Nuthin but net on this post! I admit, what goes quadruple platinum now, seriously confuses me.

I respect metal, I just never got it is all. Maybe soon Steven Tyler will get a stylist Kidding....I know, is his style and it's his and he don care.

Madonna is not exaclty loved by many. And, for very good reasons. Being a worldclass artist is not the same as having overweening, rabid ambition and being hell bent on achieving those goals by whatever means necessary.
