Well let's see: obviously the kids and parents have never experienced weed. They get really high, but had no expectations of doing so, and probably ate a massive amount. Getting that high and not expecting it, they probably worked themselves into some nausea and disorientation. Makes sense to me.

Plus, it is possible to puke after weed. Ive seen it, very possible. Especially when young.

Can you die from smoking too much weed in one sitting though? Smoke like 60 something joints?

60 Joints? D:

Maybe if you have Asthma or some other serious Lung ailment. By about Joint #10 you'll forget you're smoking a joint and it will just smolder away with it halfway to your mouth. Eventually you'll notice someone in your face trying to explain to you how you were going to smoke 60 Joints and that you had 50 to go. Unfortunately you'll only be able to remember the last 2 words they said to you, so you'll just sit there wondering why this person is in your face.

so not working and still smoking and then having credit issues.

I believe in drugs. I believe in paying your bills and supporting yourself.

If you have savings in the bank, do whatever you wish.

If not don't, don't. I am very open to recreational drug use even though I don't do it. I am very pro on having welfare/assisted-living types drug tested.

In my past I have toked a bit, recently during an affair I did some bong smoking...

The stuff just doesn't do it for me though. I love my beer/alcohol to relax and just chill...I may no longer have the proper receptors.

I could afford to do a lot of illegal drugs and still pay all my bills + some...I choose to not. Alcohol is a drug that's my vice, even if marijuana was allowed I don't think I'd do it just out of my past family history of lung issues among some of the top killers...

You're barking up the wrong tree. I completely agree with you. I was, unfortunately, affected by these tough times. Not much I can do about that.I never missed a single payment in the 7 years prior to losing my job in 2008. I'm one of the best employees you'll come across. I come to work 10 minutes early, leave as late as I need to and genuinely try to make my boss and coworkers happy. I have not missed a single day of work(besides vacation) in 2 years. I have never gotten a cent of government assistance. I am a responsible adult.

The fact that I may or may not smoke a bowl in the evenings has nothing to do with any of this. Just like you said, alcohol is your drug of choice. Personally, alcohol makes me sick. I can have a beer or two socially, but if I try to drink to get drunk, I'll end up puking. That's just not fun.

More demonization of marijuana by the conservative fools. Their stupid, foolish values are bringing this country too its knees. No drug should be illegal. People should be allowed to destroy themselves however they want, and I should be allowed to watch and laugh. Everyone knows this.

OMG, TFP is making sense. It must be the apocalypse.

lol Perknose - you were involved in a weed study... that's epic!! comments on the potency of today's stuff vs. that of yesteryear? ie. some varieties such as Kush are well over 20% THC content... compared to 5% you're truly looking at some one-hit shit compared to before there's also just so much more known about each strain and its effects... frankly i find it just as interesting in brewing one's own beers / wines. kush ftw

Oh, yeah, I know, believe me. I only said that the gummint stuff wasn't that bad, which it wasn't. The gummint stuff wasn't anything close to one hit stuff, of course, nor did it have any epic effects.

There are strains that are certified over 30% now.

Crazy shit. That's what's so great about it though. It's not like say, heroin where if you get an ultra potent batch and don't know it, you're toast.

Infact.. one could argue quite easily that more potent is better, because you automatically and unconsciously smoke less.

Though, there is the issue of tolerance. That is one thing that is different for everybody. I have a friend who is a one hit wonder, but has been smoking for years and years. It's like he's stone sober when he wakes up every morning. It's weird.

Then there are people who would still end up having to smoke an eighth every few days. I'm surprised there isn't more research done into drug tolerance. I'm sure it's seen as a big problem from a pharmaceutical standpoint. It's not exactly good when a chronic(but legitimate) user of say, opiates.. has to take 4+ pills to feel any relief at all.
