Nemesis - if you've never played the MK series then don't speak - you've obviously never played MK or MK64 drunk with buddies or with your family. Gameplay > graphics. It could look "adult like" and the graphics still wouldn't matter.

Oh for crying out loud.... My comments were about the graphics. I did not say that the game sucks. I didn't even say that the graphics sucks. All I said was that the graphics look like it was meant for five-year olds. I mean, just look at the pics. Bright colors, princesses, cartoony characters, flowers. No, there's nothing wrong with that, it's a design-decision. What I said was the truth IMO.
Compare this game to Resident Evil for example, and you will instantly notice the difference. One has that childish look, other has more mature look.

since the RE series is pretty much synonymous with GC now.Fact is that large part of Nintendo-games have that certain childish look&feel. Even the console itself has that design-philosophy (which is obvious when you compare the three consoles together).
We break out Mario Kart 64 every now and then here, from all the swearing and death threats flying back and fourth, it is most definatly not a game for childrenIt looks like it's meant for 5-year olds.

Notice that I said "large part of Nintendo-games....". I didn't say "All Nintendo-games". Of course there are exceptions, like Resident Evil, Metroid Prime, and Rogue Squadron. But it seems that GC has more cutie-games than other consoles do.
