Maybe they are trying to outrage people and Chauvin absolutely deserves to rot in prison for murdering Floyd. The thing is Trump pardoning him wouldn't actually get him out of prison, it would just get him transferred to a state prison as he was also sentenced to like 20 years in prison under state law.

So who knows what the results are of doing this other than making some Nazis happy but at least the immediate effect is just a different cell for that guy.

Why would they cause race riots, when Derek Chauvin wills till be sitting in jail for murdering George Floyd, as that conviction is state level? Pardoning Derek Chauvin for civil rights violations won't cause riots. It will piss some people off, which is understandable, but it won't cause riots.. As wrong as it is, we have civil right violations excused on a daily basis around this country. A riot won't happen unless he gets pardoned for Floyd's murder at the state level, which won't happen.
It's the message it would send. As brown as the second lady, or darker, fuck you. Could Trump hide him in a federal witness protection plan? Would you put it past him?

It looks like he is in a federal prison in Texas. Let him walk out of the prison in Texas, would he be considered a fugitive? Would Abbot deny extradition to Minnesota as a favor to Trump, or just because he's also a raging racist?

It would be interesting hearing those who went batshit crazy over lockdowns try to explain why martial law is a good idea. I would count on them being f'n hypocrites and useless when it really matters.

Oh look, another person who is ignorant of reality. the message it would send? That message has already been put out there over and over. Yes, he would be considered a fugative, and yes, Abbot would extradite him. Abbot would have refused a lot of extradition before now if he was going to refuse extradition.

If he DOES go the distance to declare Martial Law, there may be enough people to push back despite the heightened risk.

Everything he's done so far telegraphs a desire to destroy -- not just government -- but everything. If he really is a "KGB" (now FSB) asset, all of his decisions and actions are consistent with that. And I'm fairly confident on my opinions about this. I don't know how half of congress and about half the electorate do not see and understand it.
The National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, the legislature body of South Korea, unanimously passed a motion to lift martial law, despite attempts by the Republic of Korea Army Special Warfare Command to prevent the vote. Do you see that level of courage or even numbers in our legislature?

Yes my governor who pardoned a convicted murderer for killing someone in a group Abbott hates wouldn't do it again
as I said, keep being ignorant.. you seem to not understand the differance.. one has nothing to do with the other, even though you want to interject it into the discussion. Explain to us how Abbot can pardon anyone for any crime, specialy murder, tried and convicted in another state? I don't think you have stopped to think about the concequences of refusing extradition (he has no legitimate path to do so) and what that would do. you are just trying to argue a made up reality that doesn't exist because we have a federal goverment that is destroying this country.. you seem to believe that state govenors are going to start conflicts between states because of it... as I said.. ignorant.

Explain to me how Trump can do any of this shit he's doing tearing down the federal government when it's illegal. And yet he's doing it. Who is going to stop Trump when he says state governors can pardon unjustly incarcerated victims after he gives them a federal pardon? You don't seem to understand that Trump is bound by no law when he can't be tried for breaking one. You're really in denial that we live in a totalitarian state now.

Are you even stopping to think at all, or are you just pulling shit out of your ass to try and push your alternate reality that you think will take place? What state did Derek Chauvin get charged, tried, and convicted in? Was it Texas? Think about your bullshit you typed above.. I mean really think about the bullshit you are pushing.. because you haven't thought it thru.

Let me get this right: you think Elon is pushing Trump to pardon Chauvin so he can go spend 20 years in state prison?

How did I insult you? Maybe rather than sitting here putting your ignorance front and center, you should go spend some time learning what words mean.

What are you counting? How many times you chose to not use google, and educate yourself? have some integrity and at least go look at a dictionary.
Do you see a pattern here? Probably not, but there is a trend to insult the intelligence of those you disagree with. Could there be more to this, like your inability to discuss a topic with facts, or this is just who you are, a very noisy but empty bucket.

Elon doesn't give two shits about Derek Chauvin. Just as everythign Elon has been doing of late, he hasn't think that far ahead, he just acts without worring, thinking, or understanding the outcome.

Yep, I see a pattern, you don't know what ignorant means.. There isn't anything to discuss because your whole position and argument as well as SteveGrabolwski is all based on feelings, and made up bullshit, not facts, which is why you both are ignorant. Either that, or you both are just trolling, using manipulation to some how convince us that Trump will be able to succeed in pardoning state crimes, or that Abbot will ignore/refuse extradition or somehow Trump will give Abbot the ability to pardon crimes convicted in other states, as SteveGrabolwski tried to imply. In short, you both are just making shit up to argue.. so which is it, are you just ignorant or trolling?
