Thor is a God, though, and supposedly Immortal. So you can't just kill him off. On the other hand, Sif is eminently worthy in her own right.

Well, the story goes that whomever wields Mjolnir is bestowed the power of Thor. Guess what, the male Thor can no longer wield Mjolnir, but the chick he saved can. As Odin said when he bestowed Mjolnir in the first place, she's now Thor.

It's stupid, but they tend to do this in the comics when shit gets stale.

I preferred when the Punisher was Capt America.

that being said, I wonder how the Falon will be able to throw the shield and have it bounce back to him?

as I recall, steve rogers was born w/the ability to see angles thus why he can bounce his shield off 3 walls, hit the target, and come back to him.
(kinda like shooting pool)
