It seems like it was just a way to keep people alive for a long time and to bring them back alive when killed but they probably only use it for important people as they seemed to only have the one revive pod that we saw.
Stick mentioned they found the way to bring back the dead so I guess this was the way.
If I recall in season one he slowed his heartbeat when he was hiding to lure DD in so I guessed he taught it to everyone else.
Interesting. I assumed that it was something especially for Black Sky given the final scene and
the people in cages were there to charge the vessel. But it makes sense that it would be used for all of the followers. However the ninja leader (can't remember the name) was self-resurrecting based on a couple of scenes in the show so there must be different categories of immortals - ones that truly can't die (unless beheaded like a vampire) and those who need to be reanimated.
Daredevil, his law firm crew, and the King pin are horrible for their roles. Charlie Cox plays a blind person horribly. However, the Punisher and Stick are awesome characters and they made season 2 great. Electra wasn't too bad, at least not as bad as the entire cast from season 1.
I want more of Stick and Punisher. I hope they kill off Charlie Cox and replace him with someone who can actually play a blind person.

Ok at 7.Guy playing Froggy has worried look down pat.
Ep 4 was great roller coaster ride.
Kiss in rain blew Spiderman's kiss off the top 10 list. Two arm touches and better than porn!

That's one of the main objections I had about this season. Last year there were a handful of clips where they showed you the world from DD's point of view. And there was the explanation that he "saw" using a sort of sonar.
I think that's the point of the intro sequence. He sees by painting the world with sonar. Except it's passive rather than active sonar.
This season, I think was one maybe 2 clips showing DD's point of view and it was nothing like last season. They just sort of blurred the image and distorted it slightly. It was nothing like the images from last year.
Finally got around to binge watching this season and I'm left extremely disappointed. Karen's character is easily the worst written character in the season. She has absolutely zero motivation to do any of the stupid things she does and her being portrayed as a strong female character is completely laughable. She is only "strong" when there is a male character around AND she doesn't every actually do anything on her own, she is constantly saved.
Besides her, I thought they really missed an opportunity for DD and Castle to have more development. I really wish they had stressed DD had yet to experience any real loss and when he does, it would take tremendous restraint to not go down the path of the Punisher.
The best written and acted characters were easily Fisk, Castle, and Foggy.

I vaguely remember from season 1 around the time she
killed Fisk's lawyer(?)
that she had something from her past that showed the viewers that she's really not just a regular 'secretary'
(and that she's killed someone before?)
. When season 2 started and she started doing detective stuff on the Punisher I thought we're going to go through her background and touched on that, but apparently they decided to keep this story in their back pocket for some other time and just provide us with little winks and nudges to remind us that there's more about her (e.g. Castle: "you look like you know what you're doing with a gun", etc.). But you're right, Karen's character is badly written this season.

I'm a huge fan of Foggy. I wish we'd see more of him in trials, etc., because he kicked ass. Unfortunately the one big scene in the courtroom this season was Murdock's terrible monologue when Castle was called up as a witness. Seriously, they just let the defense attorney basically testify in place of his client (who was just sitting there in the stand) for five minutes in front of the jury, without the prosecutor object to that? With my 20+ years of experience in the courtroom (of LA Law, Law and Order, The Practice, JAG, Harry's Law, etc.), even I immediately screamed "objection, your honor, the councilor is testifying!" when he started talking. I'm still not sure why the DA just sits there and watch.

I really thought they were just confused on what to do with Karen as she really didn't add much to Daredevil's story this season. The stuff she was doing with the Punisher was really odd to say the least. At one point they mentioned that she isn't a lawyer so why this secretary was doing these things only opened her up to being an accessory to his stuff. I also was really confused on why Murdock started doing his closing arguments while Castle was still on the stand.

I got 2 to go and I didn't have any drag. Loved it. I am sick of the opener and am glad they stagger it. Loved Bosch's "Got a beat and can't let go" hated "Edelweiss" repeatedly at start of Man in High Castle. The slow red drip start is infuriating but I needed more chips anyways.

In general I dont like the AppleTV 4 remote, but one great thing it does is let you skim the timeline and you can see a mini thumbnail to preview where you are. So I can skim right past the openers fairly painlessly.

Got done binge watching season 2. I must say it was pretty good. Donoforio as Kingpin is quite terrifying when he rages. Electra was pretty hot. Foggy was stealing lots of scenes. Now we have Shane from TWD as Punisher...it's like the role was tailor-made for him...simply awesome.
i just started watching this show last night. my coworker has been telling me about it for a few months now. i wish i didn't wait to long. this show is pretty damn awesome. watched the first 4 episodes last night and hope to watch more tonight.
I'm about 5 episodes in to season 2. This season is great so far. Punisher role is AWESOME . Easily my favorite screencasting and writing for the character to date. Foggy has been killing it too.
