I will wait for it to be in the $10 bargain bin. At this rate, how long could it take?
Producer Michael Gamble said on Twitter, "It's just a hotfix." Specifically, the update fixes a crash with the SOS quest and a problem with >1080p UI placement. The patch also makes an "athletic outfit available mid-playthrough.
This may sound like defending the game to much, and I do agree that this is a missed opportunity.
Now most of this is from what I remember from finishing it about 3-4 weeks ago.
1 - Tasks, yes they are fetch quests, but can largely be ignored. they don't really add much to the story at all I believe.
Wow, this game is really boring. I only started it last week but what the hell has happened to Bioware. I'm about ten hours in and about 5 hours of that is badly acted dialogue and the other 5 hours I've been driving around Arizona. Is the next planet any better?
There is a jungle planet, ice planet, and a sort of waste land planet.
What? Also, the game plays way too fast on my system. My PC is not state of the art but I get too may FPS. I need to slow it down somehow.
I play on my TV. All settings are maxxed and vsync is on. I just find it too fluid. Its weird as most people want that but I dont. I prefer 30-40 fps. I guess I can force my 480 to a fps cap. What?
If your monitor has an issue with it and you have already maxed out the graphics settings, then turn on V-sync.

Yep and when you get to Kadarra you will have doors that take 5 seconds to open and you have to go down an elevator and wait through a loading screen when you move between the overworld and the port. Also have a bunch of open pathways gated off because "you are leaving the mission area" just so they can make you take the longer way around a mountain.
Yeah. I turned off all the soap opera effects. Still too fast. It's most likely the game as I have tried the latest amd drivers and get no sound. I use an older driver and when I launch the game it bitches about getting new drivers but they suck.Make sure your TV is in "game mode" if it has one. If it doesn't, then turn off any artificial screen smoothing it does, as just about all TVs do this. But you are the first person I have ever seen that likes stuttery game play
For me too, the door on Kadarra takes longer to open than elsewhere.I have not noticed those loading times at all, and I am currently on Kadarra.
