Depends on who was holding the guns.

Your average American idiot duh. What do you think, perfectly cool and composed ex green berets and seals are the common most prevalent gun owners ratio wise out in the public. It's gonna be your average American idiot with a gun.

Goddamn.

Welcome to America where nut cases will try to take away everybody's gun so they don't have to deal with their own inner insanity by facing the fact that the violence they feel toward those who kill others is the same violence the killers feel toward them. So let's continue to play, the bad guy is over there so everything stays the same.

Only you can awaken.

Imagine all the people living in the world agreed... Perhaps one day you will join them...

Was talking with my one buddy today who lives outside the USA if they have discussions about us whenever there is a mass shooting, and he said yeah they usually do.

The one thing that they simply are mind blown by is basically "how is the USA supposed to protect the rest of the world if they can't even protect their children?"

They also LOL (in a more WTF way) @ the fact that we simply won't ban guns since you know, most of the modern civilized world has much stricter gun control, and shocker, much less gun deaths.

I said humanity is asleep but I was answered by snores. I mentioned that most people don't know how to think and got told off by people full of ignorant opinions. I imagine I am a person by the name of Moonbeam but I am just a nobody who tells you who you are because you are just like me. I was informed I am an idiot. I just happen to be the one telling you. Can't you see you have to be brain dead not to realize that what is true has nothing whatsoever to do with how many think they know.

All your live you have been humiliated by being called stupid by people stupid enough to think that making you believe that would make them seem smarter than you. You are not triggered and competitive ready to lash out with insults at any who claim to know anything. Never again the bottom of the stupid pile for you. Well, sad to say, but we create what we fear.

So now that we have spotlighted your imbecilic arrogance let me pretend you can talk sense:

As long as the 2nd amendment stands, some form of gun ownership will be the law of the land. That means that any blather about eliminating guns in the US will be nothing but emotional noise and rage, sound and fury without effect. That leaves some sort of rational gun control as the only logical path to pursue. It is also something that is legally possible to achieve as it would not include a ban of guns and is, as importantly, favored by most people.

But the screaming ban all guns clowns harden the attitudes and trust on the side that fears their guns will be taken entirely.
That makes you by your own standards classically evil because you preserve and further states doing away with any gun restrictions out of spite for the gun takers efforts.

But beyond the issue of guns and gun availability and that availability increasing the chances of guns falling into the hands of dangerously violent mentally ill people, there is the very existence and numbers of that kind of people in our society.

Why are they the way they are. How did they get that way. All violence has the same roots and the hatred of gun killers has the same source as the violence in those killers. You will not see that because of your profound need of ego, the defense against knowing what you really feel.

Were you more like me, filled with a titanic hatred of violent people, someone obsessed and possessed endlessly by a wish to punish and revenge, your anger might have reached to a different dimension, one where the hatred comes alive in memory of what happened to you as a child, what you lost to the violence, ignorance, and hatred of other people and how you were made to feel you deserved everything that happened to you.

I’m hearing the CEO and other bank executives were at that branch today but can’t figure out if that was before or after the shooting stopped.
Before. SVP is dead.

Governor Beshear said that Tommy Elliot the senior vice president of the bank, "helped me build my law career. Help me become governor. Gave me advice on being a good dad."

I still have Moonbeam on my ignore list. Whats he ranting about now?
Is he more republican than he was yesterday?
Someone please tell shortylickens that no matter how long he wishes to have me on ignore, out to forever, he will never forget why he put me on ignore, how the pain of whatever truth I told him he had to deny, I still shot him in the heart before he could slam the door. Those scars will never heal so long as he hides in fear I will do it again. He needs to grow a spine and get revenge.

Poor shortylickens doesn't know he put me on ignore because he feels he has been ignored all of his life. What he doesn't wqnt to hear is that because of his exceptional piteousness, in my opinion, arising out the the nature of his posts, I have a special fondness for him. Unlike so many others here he is more aware of how much he hates himself. Sadly, his self contempt means he can't appreciate the fact he is wiser than most in that regard. He just has to understand that it is a kind of conceit. He hasn't got a chance of being as worthless as me.

Another shooting, another triumph for the 2A
In America the law is thus:

It's your right in to be prepared to slaughter your fellow man en masse.

It's not your right to actually do it.

But there's not much stopping you.

Clearly the reason we can't raise moral children is because we have no idea ourselves as to where morality comes from. If we can't heal ourselves how will we save our children?

Of course, though, nobody is going to admit to such ignorance. We are all winners and elites. We know things. Only stupid people will admit to ignorance. How can we "Sell your cleverness and buy bewilderment" when we have no idea what they really mean?

I know, I know, I'm enlightened and you are stupid, I'm a mental case so carry on.

Don't have a twitter but clicked on the link and people in the comments are posting screen shots of colin rugg's linkedin and how he's got them too. I saw this thread yesterday may have posted in it but I shrugged my shoulders because I couldn't tell if the shooting had just happened or recently in the last week. I don't have a lack of empathy towards the victims, but I have an apathy towards these announcements because it's become tiring. I shouldn't have to lose count or train of thought what shooting this is. They should be rare if non existent in this country.

As as useful as yelling at clouds waiting for guns go away. Both are just a way to avoid doing anything about the real problem.

The same people you continually chastise are the same people who will approach it from any angle possible. You're in the same boat as the rest of us, on the internet hoping for change.

As long as you feared for your life, it's completely legit in quite a few states.

I am telling you that because you believe you want change and don’t, no change is possible. I see that. Do you? I don’t want to know how I got so violent. But I know the origin is in my past and that it is unrelated to what happens today. I know that reacting to anger by hurting others will solve absolutely nothing.

Ok, usually I'm not a grammar nazi, cuz why bother. But do you mean "know" here? Just clarify...the entire question. Keep it less than 5 sentences.
I don’t want to know how I got so violent. But I know the origin is in my past and that it is unrelated to what happens today.

But it is related to what happens today if it's still influencing your decisions and actions.

I know that reacting to anger by hurting others will solve absolutely nothing.

On the surface, I'd agree. But since it's impossible to know all outcomes, something could be solved, albeit unintentionally.

I would offer that an evolved mind should think before action, which is what I think you're going for here.

It’s just asinine this lack of any effort to solve this issue. Yes it will be difficult to change this gun culture but something has to be done. As the rest of the world as a case study, no guns equals no mass shootings. FULLSTOP!!!

When asked a question from a reporters Bashear said, "right now I want to focus on the families"

If I was a reporter there would have followed with, "with all due respect should't we focus on this not happening to the NEXT family? There is nothing that can be done here, they are already dead"
