PHOENIX -- Authorities say dozens of teenagers got into a fight at the opening night of the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety and Phoenix police were at the scene near 19th Avenue and McDowell on Friday night.

Officers said they detained about 30 youths at the fairgrounds and released them to the custody of their parents.

They said as many as 60 youths may have been involved and some even fought with police.

Two adults were also arrested, including a woman accused of kicking and hitting a police officer.

Authorities could not say what started the fight.

The State Fair runs through Nov. 2.

I am sure its some jacked up teen lost in his own testosterone world where he does not care what he says to females even if they are holding a mans hands who are not his.

It is those teens that act like that who need their jaw broken so that they wise up not to act like that in public. But in this particular case I am sure it was a case of line jumping

At the same time, we need to develop a more effective system of punishment for kids like this. I can think of a couple. Starting with public flogging for those found guilty.

Big groups of 20+doing the same? Link it if you got it. I remember seeing a fight like that a few months back where they were knocking people out or something, knock out game, looked like they were all black too.
