I think I may have had my varisty baseball coaches phone number when I was in high school, but that's because we practiced off season all the time, and he'd call us to cancel practices if it was snowing, etc.

Agreed. I assumed it was just a normal e-mail, but I thought Snapchat was mainly used for sexting or whatever, so no idea why you would have kids in your contacts there, unless you were a kid yourself.

There's plenty of non-nude uses for the app. I know a few people who are constantly snap chatting the stupidest stuff. Sometimes it's a "look at this shit behind me!" or some such. Or it's just wasting time and being overly social, like 20-somethings are known to do.

I don't even have it installed and I'm in that age bracket. lol


But still - even the inoffensive sending of selfies in the soccer jersey... a coach does not need to be doing that with his high-school team. Ever. Doesn't matter how innocent or what is intended, that is just not appropriate to be doing something which is very much at a friendly level with students at that age.

Having the phone numbers to text out alerts or related info, absolutely, that would be normal in this day and age. But snapchat? Wholly, entirely inappropriate.
