I went to Staples with my friend and I had him buy one for me (the last two)

there was some running around while they were deciding to see if they were going to honor the "code"

I think the manager finally said "give it to him"

and I walked away with two 100 pacs for under $11 (cuz of tax)

I took in both pages. Print out the instructions (available on the first post of this thread) and then add one to your cart, apply the coupon, and print that out as well (showing $4.94 in your cart).

I just took in the page with the coupon code (the main page). I've done it twice now. It's nice having a Staples so conveniently on my way home from work.

The manager at the mira mesa, CA store here wouldn't honor it after reading my printout for like 5 minutes.

He states it's what they do "online" to boost business. I look around, his store was the one needed some boosting. The entire parking lot was empty. And I walked out empty handed. =(

I simply told the manager that online was out of stock in the area so I came there. I wanted them to know that I had at least tried (really had) to order from the site.

lol u shoulda told him it wasn't being done to boost business, but to dump 74minute slow burning cd-r's no one in their right mind would pay full price for. didn't he wonder why he still had a bunch on his shelf even after previous rebate deals on the exact same item?


i got one from campbell ca store. but from an employee not manager. you just have to get an employee that has the ability to make a simple decision for himself, or a nice manager

Not a bad deal. Combine this with the 100 imation 80 min 48x cds that are $20 with $20 MIR (FREE) at office depot and I'm not doing too bad this week

Go to Escondido Staples. They have 7 of them on the shelf. The manager looked at the print out and said "I guess it is ok"

Glad I printed it out a couple of times last night. I cancelled my original online order because the shipping was twice the price of the cd's. Went to the b&m today and picked up four spindles. They only charged tax on the actual purchase price. 400 cdr's out the door for $21.12, not a bad deal. By the way anyone need something burned?

I like rounded up 4 100 packs of these in the last few days, for the deal rush. Left plenty on the shelves for others. I had a gift card from another promo, so I got 400 CDrs for $10.

I had so many blanks a few weeks ago that I got for little or nothing, I found myself rounding up the crappy ones (Kyphermedia, Optimum, Jensen, etc) and taking them to my office and setting them out at the break table just to give away (put right beside the cakes and donuts people bring in). You wouldn't believe how many folks were appreciative as they were ACUTALLY PAYING FOR BLANKS!!!
