The instant rebate still works. I'm buying over 50$ for free shipping. I needed a few other things anyways.

well you probably need to call then..for an adjustment...
Automatic Gold status upgrade when you spend $1,000 with your Staples Business Rewards card within one year. Gold members receive up to 5% back plus free delivery on catalog and online orders.

but then again I had clicked to the website thru my email.

Well, I haven't actually sent the order through yet because it shows an $8 shipping charge. Will they remove the charge automatically even though it's shown on my final order page?

That is amazing!!!! I am going to go to the store tomorrow and picking up my 100 and save on the shipping cost. I wouldn't have the balls to get more than one.

Thanks for the quick reply, ScrapSilicon. I deleted my cookies and tried again, but got the same thing. No biggie. I'll just run to the store tomorrow morning. Thanks again!

Question:

How are people storing all these loose cd's?

I have bought the cd's with the clear cases before. I have also bought the loose plastic cd cases.

I saw some paper sleeves at Office Depot for 5 bucks.

Are there books with sleeves? Like storing photos?

Thanks

Just ordered the 150 blanks. No shipping for me - dunno why, just a business rewards member?

Thanks for a great deal

pilgrim2u: I use CDR sleeves I buy at BJ's warehouse at approximately $10 for 200. In certain situations I use the 2 CD plastic sleeves that fit in a binder. You can get a box (approx. 50?) at CompUSA for about $9-10.

I haven't seen 74 minute CDRs in a long time, at least a year. Do they still make these or are they old stock?

I just went to my local Staples with the web page printout. I brought 2 to the register and the guy raised his eyebrows and said, "I think you'd better take this over to that register" (pointing to the customer service one.

When I went up there, the lady smiled and said, "Oh yeah! I heard about this! Great deal!" Then she keyed in the coupon code twice and I was out the door for $10.78 for 200 CDRs! Sweet!

(BTW, the guy actually asked her, "So it's legit then?" LOL)

Thanks for the great deal!

... ..I went for just one(all they had) and seems my cashier had been written up/counseled on coupons.. ..she would not budge..walked over to the manager who looked it over..pulled the webpage up..said.."hmmmm..."
..scratched ok and his initials and sent me back her way..rung me up and out the door..I went.

Anyone?

Only if you want to record 651 MB on a disc.

Seriously, these are just as good as 700 MB ones--in fact they're certified up to 40x. They're just slightly shorter, which is probably why Staples is getting rid of them. But for archive or music purposes, they're just as good as any other disc, and since they're Maxell, they're probably better.
