According to the Anandtech Thunderbolt III article here 40 Gbps is possible with active cables and 20 Gbps is possible with passive cables.
PCIe 3.0 x 4 = 3.94 GB/s or 31.52 Gbps as a reference.
So how fast of a video do you think could be used with Thunderbolt III @ 40 Gbps and 20 Gbps without a serious bottleneck?
P.S. The reason I am interested in 20 Gbps is because Thunderbolt III will able to use the common usb type-C cable. (Usb 3.1/type C only gets 10 Gbps with this same passive cable)
