I'll tell you how it works out. I just ordered one of those today. I am replacing the included fans with Enermax variable speed fans, though.

Here are my new system specs: Tell me how envious you are ::

Athlon XP 1800+ (I plan on over clocking to at least 2000+ or 1600 mhz)
Thermalright SK6 fan (I'm going to try and put an 80mm fan on this little guy)
Soltek purple board
256 mb PC2100
ATI Radeon 8500 VE
Tekram 315U SCSI
Plextor 12/8/32 SCSI CD-Writer
Pioneer SCSI 305S DVD-ROM
And a small 27GB western digital HDD

I'd like to know more about this case too - like if you put a KR7a raid in there, will all four 5 1/4 drives fit ok, and how that power supply is if I pair it with a 1800+ - lookin to use this as my first mod >=)

Well, I just got my little maxtop today. And I like it!

There are locations for 3 additional fans. One in the front, by the 3.5in HDD cage, and two in the back by the parallel ports and Serial ports.

There Power supply is acceptable for my 1800+, now overclocked to a 2000+. There is only one fan in the PSU, but it is not very loud.

What is loud on the other hand, are the two 92mm fans that come with the case. They are in two nicely cut blow holes, one in the side and one on the top. The side fan sucks air into the case and the top fan blows out. I'm thinking about replacing them with two Enermax Speed Adjustable fans.

On the back of the case there are locations for 2 fans. These aren't fully cut out blow holes, however. The dremel took care of that. Now they're nice and open.

The case is quite small, but I like it. It's a good change from a huge Enlight server case I had. Some people might have trouble putting CD-ROMs in the bottom two 5.25 bays if they're motherboard is large. I put my DVD-ROM and CD-RW in the top two, so it's no big deal.

Another small problem is that as far as I can tell, the front USB ports will not hook up to my Soltek Motherboard. The case is missing two pins I think. I might be able to get it to work, but I'm not in that much of a hurry, as I only have one USB device.

But it's a keeper. And you really can't go wrong for $50!

I have a "maxtop full tower" it is really just a no brand name case. I got it at a computer show for like $55. It is a good solid case for price. There is nothing very good about it but also nothing bad it is just a normal low priced case. Right now i have cut several holes in it for some serious mod action. Some day pics will be posted.

Hey dave rules, how is your setup with the Soltek Mobo?
I recently got the MaxTop case from NewEgg along with Soltek 75DRV2, XP 1600+. Been having problems with the PSU though. I was wondering how your setup was.
As far as the case, I like it... a decent mid-size case for a decent price. <I think I'm gonna upgrade the PSU to Enermax though>

Ah so it seems like the Qmax 350W powersupply is too weak for the 75DRV2?

Wonder if my Enlight 300W will pump enough juice for the 75DRV2 as I am planning on getting the Soltek SR-75DRV2 + the Maxtop case soon.

My Soltek 75DRV2 setup on my Maxtop is great. Seems that my PSU was ok after all. I just needed to re-set the cables. DOH! But so far, the motherboard and case run nicely.

I have purchased 7 of the MAXTOP cases and I will say there great. Haven't had a PS problem with any of them. Go for the 350watt PS nothing to scream about but, will take care of your needs

I have the SolTek SL75V2 "Purple Rage" and that 300 watt Enhance PS. With a Gainward/Cardex GF3 Ti200 it will not make it past POST, but it runs quite well with a Herc GF2 MX. So if you have, or are planning on, a GeForce 3 to go with that SolTek you better go for a bigger PS.
