Searched and didn't find. For those of us that still have a need for these smaller drives, there are Maxtor 160 GB PATA or SATA drives for 39.99 out the door. No rebates. It's only at Fry's Bayarea AFAIK but other Fry's stores in other areas might be having this sale as well. Post if it's good in other areas please. This is not good at Fry's.com.

Wish I could grab one of these, Frys.com has 200GB Maxtors for $49.99, used to have free shipping too. If you can wait it out free shipping will probably come back.

On an un-related note, today at Frys ANAHEIM also lol I got a Motorola Surfboard 5101, it was listed at 79.99 and was actually 59.97 with a 20$ MIR.

Some nice deals. The 250GB Seagate drive is a steal if you are looking for a PATA drive. The Maxtor 160GB SATA drive works out to be $0.25/GB. If you need a bigger drive and SATA, they have the maxtor 300GB SATA for $70, but no free shipping. Shipping for me would be under $7; @ $77, it works out to be less than $0.26/GB.

The 300GB model is SATAII (300MS/sec), has a 16MB buffer and supports NCQ.

Great deal, I was in for a few, until I saw the 250GB PATA Seagates for 10 bucks more. However, they don't have the Seagates in SATA, although they are suspected to be 7200.9 or 7200.10 drives (they have 16MB Buffer) that are obviously also available in SATA, usually at the same price
