BTY: It was suppose be delivered Monday, I ordered on-line Tuesday around 2:00 PM pst.

Wierd, I just checked it... its blank where the price is supposed to be.. but when I check online it says 102 and still processing scheduled delivery 4/14.. we will see.

well, they cancelled mine because it's OOS in my area... despite being in stock when i ordered it... but I called and confirmed with several different CSRs that it is indeed out of stock. On the plus side, it looks like I get to keep the $15 credit on my CC from a couple of disputes over pricematching. So $15 free. I can live with that.

my drive arrived today also...supposed to be delivered tomorrow, but i'm not complaining. Also, i checked maxtors site for warranty, my drive has a 3yr warranty

Okay, I'm pissed off now.

Got a call from Staples this morning regarding the order I placed two days ago. They said there was a problem with my CC and that the expiration was incorrect (which I know wasn't my fault because I first placed the order online, then called them to get the price adjustment...so I had to check it twice). I asked them if my order had placed any sort of hold on the product at all, but they said no. I then asked them if they even had it in stock...they said no. I came very close to cursing them out, but stayed semi-calm about it and stated "so, even if I correct the information, my order will be canceled anyways" and they said yes.

What pisses me off is the fact they wait 2 days before contacting me about it. No email was sent stating my order had problems. $108 for a 160GB drive is definately a good deal, but not worth me getting steamed about. In 12 months I'm sure I'll find a deal on the new 300GB drives for $150!

In the future, however, I will avoid all Staples deals as I do not like their policy and customer service.
