Why would staples pricematch and 'after rebate' price? Seems like they are both selling it for 299$..
unless the 100$ at outpost is INSTANT savings.

They have done this many times for many of us here.

My understanding is that Staples will pricematch the after rebate price from another store only when the rebate cannot also be used at Staples. I wouldn't be surprised is some lucky souls got them to pricematch the rebate and then were able to turn around and use the rebate, but I would be surprised if that is their policy.
