Just a reminder to everyone that orders from staples or office max or office depot. Make a printout of your order. Staples is really bad about charging more than the actual order price. and if you talk to a customer service person and they give you a pricematch, but it never shows up on your card? just dispute the entire charge.
Staples is one of the worst companies about totally screwing up orders, good and bad.They have no policies what so ever, and each person you speak with will give you a diff answere to the same question. If you get the entire order charged off of your credit card,its up to you as to what you do with the item. You can keep it, or call the company up and have them send you prepaid shipping. But do not take it back to the store. The stores will either destroy the item, or one of the employees will take it home. I use to be a merchandiser for all of them and one of my jobs was to destroy merchandise. I took entire computer systems and smahed them beyond recognition. A very weird setup- but hey thats what they paid me to do.
Just do what is morally right for you!! And a last note. If your order shows up as being cancelled,print it out. because it will sometimes still show up at your front door, and the company never charges you for it.
