I could add it to officedepot.com's cart using my girlfriend's zip code but not mine. However, the staples csr called officedepot.com and the store to verify the stock. Might try again later.

Awesome, they're finally in stock for me at staples. Unless Staples has changed, people said they will actually send the 45 gb ultra ata/100 drive. You can purchase the ultra ata/100 card from staples on a separate order, which comes to about $30 w/ coupon. And there's a $50 mail in rebate if you purchase the ultra/ata card and the hd, so it comes down to $75 after rebate(or maybe $60 if you can manage to convince them to let you use a $40 coupon). Hot deal for a hot drive

Worked for me.

The first time I tried the CSR said after 30mins that his machine was acting funny and crashing and I should go to my local store.

So I called back in 2 mins and got another CSR and I asked her if her machine was working b/c some CSR told me 30mins to call and place my order again

Losing money hurts .. they should just bite the bullet and accept it instead of lying to customers and jerking them around.

tommyli, some Staples B&amp;M's will take the online coupons, but that is a crap shoot. Try calling like suggested, then print out your shopping cart with the item and coupon being used. I have done that with some success in the past.

Just got mine for $101.88, had to pay state tax. OD had 1 in stock woohoo!

Do the phone pricematch, then you're sure. Also if they complain about shipping and the 1 day requirement, make them look for the &quot;free shipping&quot; link that show up in the lower right corner, that clears it right up.

Spoke with Lauranne, she was very friendly and they have been doing the pricematch like mad evidently.

I just ordered mine, The CSR put me on hold while she called Office Depot. She did do the pricematch for $119.99, and I was able to use the $25 off $75 coupon. She charged me sales tax on the $119.99 though, not the price after the coupon, is this normal?

NO! Call them back and make them change it. They can only charge tax on what they are charging you for the item. Don't take any poo about it--threaten them with your cc company if you have to.

Finally ordrered it at my 4th calls, but they charged me $5 for nextday delivery since officdepot's nextday delivery is not free. $108 shipped incl tax, still a good deal. It's time to wait for the ATA/100 card in stock to get the rebate.

I got two orders in earlier this week. Got 1 pricematched and used the 25 off coupon. For the second they told me that it was out of stock at Office Depot so that they couldn't pricematch, so I used the 40 off 150 coupon instead. Then I called today since I saw Office Depot wasn't giving me an out of stock error, so she pricematched it to 119.99, but didn't mention that I couldn't use that coupon. Hopefully that means a 79.99 hard drive. And if it's the 45GB version, best deal I've had in a while.

I'd call staples up for the $5...$5 isn't much, but every penny to hurt those retards at staples.com counts.

Here is staples csr's explanation:
Office depot told them the HD using my zip is going to ship from the warehouse, not the B&amp;M store. Next day delivery from warehouse is not free. Staples's next day delivery is $5, so $5 is added to the pricematch.

I will call them back tomorrow to see if I can knock $5 off (have made too many calls to make this deal today).

BTW, it's better than last time I tried to pricematch with buy.com thru email. Their reply was buy.com's price + buy.com's nextday delivery fee, the final price is even higher than staple's price. My advice is never do pricematch thru email, they have plenty of time to find some way to turn down your request.
