This is OT, but since so many of you have TIVO and Replay TV. When you do recording things like sporting events and such that run into overtime or go into extra innings, how does TIVO or Replay know to keep recording, or do it stop and you miss the ending of the game? Just curious. That is one of the questions that has stopped me from getting one of these.

on my directvivo you can extend the end of the program so it catches extra innings, OT stuff like that.....easy

A TiVo has one IDE channel, so you can hook up two drives (primary & secondary). Each can be whatever size you want, but it will only recognize 137GB, so anything larger just gets ignored. I have an 80GB and a 160GB in mine. As to the question about recording space, mine is a DirecTivo, which doesn't have multiple recording qualities since it just records the digital stream directly from DTV... my unit reports 202 hrs of capacity. In actual use, however, it's more like 140hrs or so. It all depends on what you record. If I recorded nothing but high action sports, I'd get less, and nothing but low detail low motion programs, would result in more hours.
