Wy don't you install the VIA 4in1 4.73a and finish yourself the problem before they did?. Do you like to suffer?
Some guys also raice in BIOS setup the AGp strenght to "DA", but mine just fixed with the 4in1 installation.

I already installed the VIA 4 in 1 drivers. No Good! Tried the latest BIOS from ASUS 1005. No Good! I have heard, however that the 1006 beta version has eliminated these problems. If you feel like beta's are more worth your while than a crashing system, you can find it online. Flash you BIOS and if you're lucky, you'll have no more problems. Good Luck. I've since given up.

<< it maybe your harddrive, motherboard or CPU. from my experience with ASUS boards the board is the culprit. i have built a lot of systems with ASUS boards in them and they give errors such as this. BUT, do not rule out the CPU. CPUs sometimes take a while to cause the system to crash. i would see if you can find another CPU to test. but i bet it is the board... >>

From my experience the builder is the culprit. What kind of PSU do you have? OEM/Pro versions on Win2K won't help. Are you installing the Promise Raid drivers during the installation process?

[/i] >>

I get the same error, its a nv_4 disp.dll based error -paging to a non paged area. I hope it resolves when nvidia, via and micro@%#* get their act together. Its not the ram or mb. [/i] >>

That's an nVIDIA issue, not a Asus issue.

There seem to apears some problems with Detonator XP drivers and VIA chipsets based mobos, it match the launch of the nVidia nForce chipsets, take your own conclusions...
What's wrong with the Radeon?
Patience my blue friend!, did you try WinXP PRO yet?

Ok Guys I tried one of my other buddie's stick of ram same type and brand
Crucial DDR pc2100 cl 2.5 256MB
and it worked just fine so total of 512MB ram.
Ran q3bench marks over and over for about a 1/2 hour.
No problems memory errors went away. So it was bad ram the whole time.

<< Yeah Gorillaz, ASUS does NOT suck. They are known for quality, reliability, stability, and performance. Mine is absolutely rock solid. >>

If it's an AMD board you're lucky.. I thought my A7Pro ran good until I got an MSI mobo. I also have an A7V133 and I really dislike that board more than the A7Pro which actually works 95% good. the A7V133 is a bit troublesome at times..
