Blots: Here is the pricematch URL PriceMatch My PM was authorized first and then I ordered with the coupon, I then replied to the PM authorization email and received an email stating that they will credit the $88.70

They state that they first charge your card for the full amount and then credit the difference the same day...maybe someone can comment that has experience PMing OM?

OM has the product as back ordered, they gave me a ship date of 6/24. the rebate has an expiration date of 6/15 so you need to order by then.

is there any difference between Wireless Access Point and Wireless Router? I have three desktops and one laptop at home, recently I use a wired router and a hub to connect them togather and share the cable internet. I want to try the wireless network in my home, any suggestion?

hoho- You should be able to plug the DWL-1000AP into a router (like the one you have) and it should work just like a hub, only a wireless hub. You could also buy something like the DWL-711 which is a wireless router, but then you would have to a hub into the output of that to connect a wired network.

Basically, if you are planning on going entireley wirelss, get a wireless router. If you plan on only having one or two wireless clients and have a wired network already running, get an access point. It all depends on what you alread own and what you want to spend to go wireless.

Blots: I put NA in the order # field, they send you an email in 24 hours whether they accept it or not, then you order and reply to that message with the order #---hahaha (you need to trust people more )

But: as meydman pointed out the rebate linked from the product page is for the DWL-900AP, OM dosnt even carry the 900! calls to both OM and rebate 800 # resulted in conversations with inept people, OM said the rebate will work and refused to remove the rebate link. when i mentioned their backorder policy of cxlng order in 7 days they said they have to say that for liability purposes but they will indeed ship it out when they receive it next week. the rebate peeps said the rebate won't work so don't even try sending it in.

Office Max sux, I will be very cautious when ordering anything from them again. Do they just want to mislead people? So the rebate may not work but I just got this email so I am going to ride it through, not sure where the $66.35 came as my calculations come to $73.29...both still a pretty good price.
