It's been an ongoing debate with @fskimospy because he believes DeSantis would respect democracy in that case, and reiterated that last week. And numerous posters have come to his defense. I'm sure most people here realize this basic fact, but it's harmful that people are so naive they don't get such basic simple things.

I don't happen to think DeSantis is any better than Trump. It's even conceivable he could be worse.
