I say that as someone who despises Desantis. I live in FL and familarity has bred a lot of contempt. I'd almost prefer a Trump Presidency to a Desantis one and that is not something I thought I'd ever say.

With this orchestrated battle between DeSantis and Trump, and yes I say orchestrated, the media will be all over it and I can see the hours and hours of free airtime coming now, not to mention the endless analysis. And again.... exactly what got Trump elected in the first place.
And where will Joe Biden fit in with all of this? Nowhere. The media will skip covering boring Joe especially when they can cover insane Trump and cover just as insane DeSantis. Will the media prefer to cover Joe picking daisies, or the match of the century between Trump and DeSantis?
Personally, I think it's all staged, the Trump vs DeSantis thing. What better role for DeSantis than to play his part by empowering Donald Trump. I think DeSantis is legit bananas. I’ve read multiple testimonies about his bizarre behavior that suggest he’s not a standard GOP grifter.
