Mayweather Maidana Fight thread

The fight goes down tonight at 8PM. Mayweather is the heavy favorite, but Maidana seems like a good candidate for an upset. Most sportswriters are predicting Mayweather wins by unanimous decision. Maidana certainly has the power for a one-shot knockout... but can he land it is the question!

Maidana is the perfect opponent for Floyds style. I predict a mid to late round stoppage by Floyd. Although Im not a big fan of him, he really has mastered the sweet science.

Yeah true but that is just my prediction.. It may just be a one sided fight. You dont need to hit hard to stop an opponent, fast accurate punching will knock a person. A good body shot can stop an opponent.

I used to watch it, but never pitting GSP vs. Anderson Silva is ridiculous. If they don't want to fight each other, they should have been thrown the fuck out long ago to make room for real champions. Dana White is like Don King for pussies; worthless money grab organization.

Unless Mayweather is sick or injured, he will win. There simply isn't a better boxer out there, in ANY weight class. I'm sure I'll get called out on this, but even in some of Mayweather's big fights, it was always him landing jabs and punches that actually had some 'kick' to them, while his opponents get technical shots that give them points but with little or no power.

By the end of fights, Mayweather almost always looks in good shape, while the guy on the receiving end of his punches is hurting.
