McCain has said he's not going to run.
Powell is finished with politics. That much can be certain.
Hillary is very doubtful to run. I don't think the DNC/DLC will prefer her to run.
She wouldn't even make it out of the primaries.Originally posted by: jlmadyson
You got to love those Hilary numbers. She would fall harder than Kerry.

Am I the only one that likes John Edwards? Do you think he will run? What's your opinion on Edwards?

Today.. she wouldn't.. but in '08 I think she'll be the front runner. I can't think of another candidate the left has on my radar that has any appeal at all. She can run as a right of middle and still get all the left votes. Remember she is the only one on the left (as I remember) who supported Bush's effort in Iraq in press conferences. She is a woman and in '08 I think that will make a huge difference.
I don't see anybody on the Right either so maybe someone will pop up outta both camps.. but Hillary is gonna get the DNC nod... IMO

He's not qualified.

As long as the far right are controlling the Republican party you'll never see the likes of McCain or Giulianni I believe. They would probably go with a guy like Frist if anything. As for the left, who really knows at this point, to early to call.

Hillary run as right of the middle?
That's hilarious. No one would fall for that.

neither was Bush.
So I suppoese that might be a good arguement.
Right, because Bush really got his ass handed to him in the debates. Edwards is a pretty boy, nothing more, a lot less.
