McCain is a Maverick. He does not like Earmarks and he will not put up stupid bills being sent to the president to sign. Plus McCain would get to select supreme court judges. A few of them could drop dead while he is in office. Even if he replaces only one it would be a major setback to the Ultra Liberals. You may find McCain is a lot harder to deal with than you think.
On the other hand Obama is just a Black Copy of Hillary Clinton. They are both Liberal Lawyers.
I find it funny to see what words you capitalize and what ones you don't. It provides some good insight into what you think is important.
Who are these 'ultra liberals' you are talking about? What decisions has the court made in recent years that you think represent something 'ultra liberal' and what do you think would change with another Clarance Thomas on the bench?
Not that it likely matters anyway. McCain has the deck heavily stacked against him to begin with, and even if he didn't I don't view him as a particularly powerful candidate. He's just not very inspiring. When people talk about voting for Democratic candidates, they are excited to do it. Most people I know who are voting for McCain are doing so because they don't have anyone else to vote for. Shades of John Kerry to be sure.
