I remember the good .39 cent cheeseburger days..... Good find, OP. I'm in for a bunch. And McDonald's will not kill you, being lazy and fat will though.

I heard theyre supposed to be slapping a "nutrition facts" label on all McDonalds foods soon. I havent had McDonalds in years, but I'll go there when this happens out of pure curiosity.

McD is a bad habit I cannot totally kick. Ten years ago when my son lived in the plastic tunnels they used to have, I did a lot of Big Mac, ah the 99 cent path to a bypass. Now I resist almost everything they have EXCEPT, caramel sundae, filet of fish, and very very rarely Big Mac. MacRib I would only eat while already signed in at the emergency room.

The title says 10/25 and the post says tomorrow (which is 10/26.) Which is it? Hungry minds want to know.

I was confused at first too. It was posted in the morning, so the OP was thinking it was the night of 10/24 and so his tomorrow is today - 10/25

Wow, lots of Trans fats in a lot of the food. Good thing I don't eat there!

In Oklahoma they are trying to upscale a lot of their locations. They are trying to win back a lot of the yuppie larvae they have been losing to Starbucks.

Seriously, this nonsense is so ridiculous it's not even funny.
I still drink regular soda on occasion, I still eat potato chips on occasion, and heck, I even went and had a burger that was probably even less healthy than mickeyD's.

And I still lost 6 pounds of weight in the last 3-4 weeks, and that's already counting the muscle weight I gained too.

MickeyD's isn't the devil, being a dumbass who eats it for every f'ing meal and sits on their ass every day without exercising is.

So...I will continue to eat MickeyD's. Will I eat it every day? Obviously not, heck I haven't bought anything from them in months. But I can pretty much guarantee that if you eat MickeyD's once a month it won't kill you unless you're eating crap all the other 29 days of the month.

And even IF you wanted to eat MickeyD's more often, if you get the grilled chicken breast sandwich (without bacon or cheese) and you tell them no mayo it's a pretty darn healthy sandwich.

Err I don't think McDonald's lost market share to a coffee shop. Not any reasonable amount of market share, anyway. Seriously I never see anyone buy the sandwiches at Starbucks, like, ever. In fact the only person I've ever seen buy any of the food is probably myself, and that was like one time at a regular starbucks. I do buy a lot more food at one of the Barnes and Noble/Starbucks cafes, but that one doesn't count since they serve more serious food, and also carry Cheesecake factory cakes, etc. so it's not a regular Starbucks. Plus there's no MickeyD's anywhere near that Barnes and Noble.

Well, either the OP was misinformed, it's YMMV or the cashiers at my McDonald's are clueless. I just drove over there (Charlotte area) and they said that they had no burger specials today. Settled for a double cheeseburger and medium fry for $2.15

I drove past a McDonalds this morning and their sign said Hamburgers 2/$1.00.

I have no plans of going there... but I did notice the sign.

Ok...I looked it up @ CalorieKing.com.

Hamburgers = 260 Cal
Sm Fries = 230 Cal
Md Fries = 355 Cal

So I could, on occaision since I'm not taking into consideration nutritional value, have 2 Hamburgers + Sm Fries + Diet Coke for 750 Cal or Med instead of Sm Fries for 874 Cal, which falls into the amount of Calories I allot for dinner on my current "diet".
