McDonalds, free lunch

For those of you who eat there, free lunch from 12 - 2 on Monday.

I passed by and it said it was a free medium lunch, so I assume it is for a value meal. I may drop by and pick up some nuggets on that day.

If you don't get the extremely cheesy stuff it's actually quite nutritious. It's still fast food but the bean burritos for example are probably the healthiest fast food you'll eat...

All this food talk is getting me hungry dang...

no link....it may be regional. I saw signs at the McDonalds on RT. 9 near Natick, MA and one at the McDonalds in the Boston right behind Fenway park.

taco bell uses D quality beef.

I've heard this before, although I didn't need another reason to not eat there. I went to a taco bell years ago, and watched the employees putting lettuce into taco's...... not wearing gloves. I lost all interest in taco bell that day.

As for "Grade D", I don't think meat is graded this way. There is an inspection, which just accepts or rejects the meat, not assigning it a grade.

The USDA can grade meat, but I don't think they use letters either. They mark them Prime, Choice, Select, etc. I don't know where the idea of "Grade D" comes from.

hmmm....i havent eaten mcdonalds or taco bell in a long time....im loving el pollo loco tho

the avacado sauce is sooooo good...the chipotle is decent too

Considering it'll take $4 worth of antacids and laxatives to recover from the "free" lunch, this deal isn't quite so hot IMHO.

Taco bell makes it all worth it,though (especially after I fill my coat pockets with sauces... hehe).
