McGregor - Diaz - anyone else think it looked fixed?

Diaz had a totally dominant round 3. McGregor was totally, utterly exhausted, with Nate chasing him around the ring.

Then round 4 starts. It was like a whole different fight. Diaz, having pressed the vast majority of round 3, quit coming forward. It is literally like someone told him to let up, and he did so.

I've never claimed I knew a fight was fixed, and I sure don't about this one, but didn't that look suspicious as hell to anyone else? I know people can get a "second wind" but McGregor not only went from being totally dead to all better, but also Diaz went from being all good to all dead!

Think about this, of all the people who would take a dive do you really believe one of the Diaz brothers would? Hell they would agree and then tell everyone about it and then win the fight. It was a great fight, Connor won a bad decision (IMO) but it was not a fix

I watched the replay and the only questionable round was the second. McGregor clearly won the first and the fourth; Diaz clearly won the third and the fifth. I could see judges giving McGregor the 2nd because he scored a knockdown despite Diaz emerging and landing some flurries late into it. McGregor was the bigger name, and he got the bigger decision (as always happens).

Diaz kept talking about his payday, so he can obviously be bought. So yes, it's possible he and McGregor fixed it so that Connor would win and that would set up the biggest UFC payday in history. Also, the pre-fight antics looked fake as hell with the water bottle throwing and WWE-esque silliness (e.g. having "police" officers at the weigh in). Dana is getting his marching orders under new management to boot. So it wouldn't surprise me if it was fixed all the way down to the judges.

JEDI, you get it. It was truly unbelievable how he went from being TOTALLY gassed out to cardio machine lol. But not just that - Nate had seen the blood in the previous round and was pouring it on, but when he came out in the 4th he stopped. It was just too weird to not believe SOMETHING was going on.

And yes, I have no doubt the Diaz brothers would fall into line for the right amount of $$$. It is not unbelievable that someone high up in the UFC ranks told Nate that if he purposely slowed down in the later rounds they'd take care of him later on with more big-money fights, and Nate followed suit...

McGregor was gassed and slowing down, but adrenaline does a lot, especially when you are fighting for a big check.
