I got my giftcard the other day INSIDE THE SAME ENVELOPE as the phone cards and other info. It was just a litle piece of paper that had an Amazon gift code on it, nothing flashy. I think that it wsa actually attached to the rest of the papers. All I had to do was enter the code during the checkout process and it took off the $150. Oh yeah, and the free shipping was a nice little extra also.

I would think they'd try to accomodate us somehow, maybe by giving a calling card but using the same plan?

Just tried switching a line at a different office.
They were having "computer problems" that prevented them from sending me to the Third Party Verification automatically. Supposedly a supervisor will call me back in an hour to verify.

It is a new line at a different address. Used the my name again and the same company name as the first line I switched. I'll let you know how it goes.

doesn't matter what name the GC is issued to. all you need is the GC code, then you are all set.

If you have multiple lines, I know from first hand experience that you can call different times and get multiple CG's. Don't know if you can do that online. I'd call instead just to be sure.

I called and they say i should be getting mine this week. I haven't even called my local carrier to let mci thought yet. Once i get the gc i will spend it, cash the check and won't even have to switch to mci and then swith to at@t and hopefully have enought time to swith back to mci. Good deal huh.

I signed up via the Web and heard NOTHING so I signed up by Phone instead -- I have still never heard anything from my Web sign up, so I would call if I were you.

If they call you, they will want to verify the phone number, business name, that changing is OK, etc. and, for all I know, may want to talk to the person that entered their name on the Web. If you call, they switch you over to the verification immediately and you take care of all of it at once.

I just got some unsolicited e-mail from someone asking for already used MCI Amazon $150 code. He said he wanted to &quot;compare&quot; with his number. If you get this e-mail, I recommend not responding.

I believe that person is trying to interpolate the codes. He hit me up for it to but I brushed him off because I actually threw mine away. I would guess these are randomly created and the possiblities are overwhelming.

hrmm I did it over the phone and the guy said a third party will verify later within 48hrs. I never got a call so I wonder if my gift certificate will come without me having to even switch?

Guys I had to call 4 times too finally get this to go through. Pain in the butt. If you don't have their 3rd party confirmation contact you and verify that you want to change carriers it falls out of their system. Unless you happen to be able to call MCI and verify right on the spot. Every time I called they verifiers where busy and said they would call me back which they never did.

Also if you don't receive the GC in 5-7 days I would call. They do send them fast once they confirm.
