Got mine today along with everything as some said (phone card and GC are at the bottom folds)
Signed up last Saturday Dec 2nd.

To some who haven't received, be patient as it might take more than a week to get to you.

I would go ahead and call the 800# and sign up that way. I signed up online last Monday, and then called on Friday and thay didn't have any information on me. So, they switched me over, and now I'm just waiting for my GC.

Ok......maybe I'm an idiot, I can't find the phone number to contact them.
This is what happened, my balance shows $0.00 after I placed an order using $150 GC (the total price for the order is less than $150).

So I assumed that the balance of the left over amount would show up but it didn't.

Can anyone tell me their cutomer service phone number please.

That's important news. Has anyone else lost their balance after making a purchase lower than the $150??!

If so post. It is good to know if Amazon has changed their policy and only allows the certificate to be used on (1) purchase.

Update: after figuring around Google.com.......I finally found their contact number (1-800-201-7575) that's ridiculous.

no go, got transfered to Order specialist department
15 seconds being told that:

"the balance will not show up if you check it from MY ACCOUNT page. But it will show up once the second, third...ect orders is being place" it will pop up to ask if you want to apply the Balance to the total price.

I just signed up over the phone by calling the 1-800(877?)-444-2222 number. I specifically signed up for the 7 cent Small Business Plus plan w/ the $150 Amazon.Com gift certificate. They never asked the name of my business, but when they verified my information, they asked me if I was the owner of &quot;<my name>&quot;. I guess they assumed my business was my full name. They transferred me over to the 3rd party verification company at the end of my phone call, and said my GC would arrive in 3 - 5 business days. I have my fingers crossed!!!

Too bad I missed the free shipping deal :-(

Same thing happens to me.....I don't think these promo GCs show up when you try to look at your GC balance.

Do this, try to place an order, when you get to the payment part, then you'll see the balance you have left. Not really sure why it works that way, but it does.

I will also confirm the part about it not showing up in your account status, but really being there. It freaked me out at first so bad that I quickly cancelled my order, but I had read about how many ppl had done it, I went ahead and tried again. Order the small item, pay for it, get all the way done with it, and then the next time you order something (in my case, a Palm IIIxe) it showed that I had $147.80 in GC credit in my account, and automatically applied it to the Palm. It just doesn't look like it works when you look at your account info. But trust me, it's still there. Mad props once again to the originator of this thread!

Sorry, I posted that, and then had to run across town to deliver something. Yes, I snagged the Legend of Sleepy Hollow e-book, thanks to whoever first posted that suggestion, to save on the shipping. Worked out great with the 50 off 200 GC, I got roughly 198 off, and still haven't counted the $50 Palm rebate on the IIIxe that they're offering right now. Too bad I missed out on the free shipping week, or I would have gotten my brand new Palm IIIxe for all of 1.79, but I guess I can't complain about spending 7.20 for one either

I received that packet on Dec.2, but it only came with a phone card. I did not find
anything about amazon.com. So I called them. they said they would send it out again.
I am waiting and waiting until now, I still not get my GC, and free-shipping is over!

You know you I tried the same procedure to combine the 150 w/ the 50 coupon. But it didn't work. So instead I order something using the Promotional GC went all the way through. Then I cancelled the order after I got confirmation by email. Then I purchased 200 worth of electronics and applied the 150 GC to it. Called up Amazon and they couldn't figure out why the 50/200 didn't work. So they just credited me back the $50 for the coupon.

In a nutshell, you can use the whole 150 and the 50/200. Instead of 147 and the 50/200 coupon. Saves 2 or 3 bucks. WHOOPY

The GC they send you is promotional, it will only appear if you order something and go to the payment screen, not if you go to the GC area under the customer service section.

And just a side note, just got my GC today and got a Toshiba SD-1600 and 10 bucks in batteries for $1.52 out of pocket. Had to throw in another $15 gc I had in my account, but ask me if I'm complaining.

I changed my service over the web, and received no GC. When I called them the lady said &quot;we have added this to your account, you should receive it in the next 5-7 days&quot; It does seem that they are not sending the GC when you order online, but they have no problem sending it out of you call them. Man I just love phone companies!

Here is a twist that worked (purely by accident) on mine to get the 50 off 200 and use the 150 GC. After I had switched to MCI, I had added a PalmIIIxe to my cart and tried to 50 off 200 coupon to see if it worked. I went through the checkout process to the point that it showed the discount. I obviously did not order becuase I was waiting on my GC from MCI. I deleted the product from my cart. After getting my MCI GC, I bought a 1.79 e-book and used the GC. I immediately went back in and added the PalmIIIxe to my cart and ordered the PalmIIIxe. When I got to the checkout, to my surprise, I did not have to enter the 50 off 200 code becuase it said I already had $198.21 in promotional credits available and asked if I want to use them. Obviously it rememebered that I had the 50 off 200 already in the bag and it added the GC amount to it. After rebate, the Palm will cost me $7.50.

I assume since I did this yesterday (12/13), it still works.

just wanted to confirm what a couple of others have seen, specifically that applying over the web does NOTHING. the MCI sr had no record of my app. so call and they will enroll you. verification asked if i was the &quot;owner&quot; of <my name>. go figure. also, when asked for the promo code my reply of &quot;i threw it away after enrolling on the web&quot; was acceptable.

FYI - I called MCI today as I had applied over the internet 8 days ago but then never heard squat from them. They had my # and name in the computer and said that the sign-up had worked. Missed out on the free Amazon shipping but it looks like I'll get my GC in a few days...
