Sounds like a big fat coincidence. Developing an autoimmune condition months after vaccination is almost certainly going to be ruled unrelated to vaccination.

And also, half of what you wrote: these things don't work like that at all. You have all the information at the tips of your fingers with the Internet, yet somehow you're still a huge ignoramus.
Except I didn't read the back and forth on the internet.

Shingrix can be given earlier. It's entirely up to your doc.

I inquired and he wants to follow CDC recommendation of over 50. So no go there unfortunately. Considering alternatives including getting it in Mexico.

And probably paying out of your pocket if it's not in their formulary thing.

Already looked into it and it is $400 for the the two shot regimen. I am willing to pay out of pocket.

Wouldn't it be weird that of all the billions of chance interactions and resulting adaptations that your immune system has made to itself during your life, that two out of those interactions were in highly controlled circumstances through efforts by people who have made the study of the immune system their life's work (as well as the knowledge of the specialists who preceded them), that those two interactions must be the cause for your autoimmune diseases?

Have you considered ceasing all environmental interactions with your immune system? Might help. /s
I would have been better off without those vaccines that caused my immune system to begin attacking healthy tissue in my body.

Those two autoimmune diseases did not run in my family yet I "magically" developed them after it turned into Frankenstein and started attacking me, 30 years apart, and both not long after. Coincidence my ass.

Again I am not saying every one will encounter what I did and I am only speaking for my own situation.

Next time I am going to reject all vaccines and let life proceed as is.

Dollars to donuts I will not get another autoimmune disease from abstaining.

It's almost as expensive as the RSV vaccine. It was like $485 dollars, but fortunately covered.

You certainly seemed to have gained immunity from logical arguments.

Thank goodness because I hate vaccines. Two of the strongest I have ever gotten was one in 1990. A few months later I developed my first autoimmune disease UC. 20 years of suffering for nothing.

The next was the Covid vaccine and booster. One year later my 2nd autoimmune disease..Psoriasis.

Turns out altering MY immune system is a bad idea. Your results my vary, make your own decisions.

Never again for me however.
Respectfully, bull fucking shit.

Good one. 😉

I will grant you that in my opinion the immune system defends the body but as it ages it turns against you naturally from arthritis to vision loss and eventually death as it is no longer effective enough to ward off serious infections.

But that is the natural time bomb in us all.

So over a period of 30 years you have picked two events at random? You know how vaccines affect your immune system? Your immune system has been reacting the same way to countless other things that haven't been demonised by nutters on YouTube!

Don't forget shingles. Many of us poor sad sacks that had pox parties as an idiot child in the 80's will get to play with shingles in our 60s or whatever.
Makes me think of the South Park episode when the parents tried to have a chicken pox party, the kids found out, and then hired a hooker to spread herpes to their parents in revenge.

Then, instead of getting it from your doctor, get it from the corner drug dealer pharmacy. My med advantage plan covers vaccinations 100% if I get them at a pharmacy, but not from an actual doctor.

Holy shit this is stupid.

Your immune system comes into contact with, and develops antibodies for, literally tens of thousands of viruses and bacteria EVERY SINGLE DAY. Adding one or two more with a vaccine is less than a drop in the bucket.

Your auto immune conditions are totally unrelated. There is no link between autoimmune diseases and vaccines.

About the ONLY autoimmune issue associated with vaccines is a DIRECT allergy to the vaccine, which occurs within minutes (at most hours) after taking it and happens at a rate of less than 1 in 1 million and presents in only 1 of two ways: GBT or anaphylactic shock.

Listen to your family doctor (ACTUAL MD). Stay off the internet if you lack the ability to filter out bullshit that contradicts 70 years of vaccine studies that show NO correlation between vaccines and autoimmune disease.

Just a word of warning: The political echo chamber you are in is a cesspool of science and medical misinformation. From anti-vax to flat earth to EMF fears and beyond. An absolute fucking cesspool.

It has been interesting to watch over the last half century the kooky quackery that was part of the hippy liberal leftwing slowly get adopted and taken to heart by the alt right.
Of course they added a bunch of other hateful and harmful stuff to it and stripped any good things from it but it's been quite the journey to watch!

Used to be they wouldn't let me schedule the appt when I put in my birth date. Went through this time so we'll see what happens when I show up.

We had eradicated measles back in 2000. Thanks to all the MAGAts people are now dying from it. How do those idiots think we managed to get rid it it?

I wonder if the parents have blamed the Democrats yet.

Bobby K. Jr. in Donald's first cabinet meeting says it's common to have Measles outbreaks without saying what he would/could do about it, so I'm assuming he's left it wide open for the usual Republican disinformation hacks over at FOX to open that can of worms whenever they think they can smear the Democrats with it.

He's taken a path that conveniently avoids the embarrassing and telling conflict he's dealing with where his virulent past statements as a strident outspoken anti-vaxxer are rebuked and debunked by established factual scientific proof in practice. For the most part, it looks like he's going to take the same disastrous attitude that Trump took when he oversaw the COVID outbreak during his first term: let nature take it's course so Bobby doesn't have to stick his neck out making those crucial time sensitive decisions that "could possibly make him look bad" and expose him for the fraud of an administrator he is.

His worst fear is if another pandemic sweeps over the nation and his stated belief that vaccines are ineffective and in fact does more harm than good will prevent him, like it did to Trump, from taking the proper decisive actions to mitigate the effects of another nationwide outbreak.

He omitted the part where we eradicated it in 2000.

I understand the case you are making and as mentioned I don't read anything about vaccine controversies on the internet (as I have been on it 30 years) and know the level of unproven nonsense out there so I know not to even bother.

You dont agree with my conclusion and thats ok. I've been thinking this way since 1990.

I have taken other vaccines from 1990 up until 2020 and had no problems but none since 2021. The rushed Covid vaccine by Moderna got me.

And I have been reading about the correlation between autoimmune diseases and vaccines but found no conclusive studies so I won't mention them.

Life has a natural conclusion, accept it.

I'm not seeing why you believing something since 1990 gives it any weight of authenticity.

How do you know it was that vaccine that caused the issue that you ascribe to it?
